Together, we are on a mission to solve the water treatment industry's greatest challenges.Job SummaryThe Field Technician is a key member of the Field Operations team responsible for supporting water treatment and environmental remediation projects across diverse geographic regions. This role primarily involves operating, maintaining, and supporting the installation of water treatment systems related to stormwater, groundwater, construction runoff, and other environmental services. The Field Technician works independently in the field while also collaborating with Lead and Senior Lead Technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Success in this role requires strong mechanical aptitude, adaptability, and a positive attitude to support evolving project and client needs. Frequent travel throughout California is required.Essential Job FunctionsOperate and maintain water treatment systems in the field.Support system installations, mobilizations, and demobilizations.Prepare and ensure equipment readiness for installation.Maintain accurate field logs and required project documentation.Provide shop and yard support, including cleaning, organizing, QA/QC checks, equipment preparation, and material handling.Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.Basic QualificationsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentMechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand and power toolsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and contractorsPrior experience in water treatment, construction, landscaping, or related fieldAbility to tow a trailer or willingness to obtain proficiency within three (3) monthsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsPreferred QualificationsFoundational knowledge of water treatment systemsExperience operating construction equipment or machineryExperience supporting environmental remediation or field-based service operationsExperience with QA/QC processes and basic fabrication tasksLicensing & Special RequirementsValid driver's license requiredAbility to tow a trailer or obtain competency within three (3) monthsIncumbent is subject to a criminal background check.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsWork is performed primarily on construction sites located in the northern California region and at times you will be needed to support our efforts in the southern California market as well. This position will be expected and required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas and while on site. Must be able to work in all adverse weather conditions, including long days, weekends, holidays and night shift if needed. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
