Who we are and about the role:

Advancing Eco Agriculture is a rapidly growing company in the specialty plant nutrition, soil health, and crop consulting industry. We are looking for a Seasonal Part-Time Field Tech to be our Plant Sap collector to workearly morning hours (3:30-5:30 am start time)from May until September (approx. 30-40 hours a week). Plant Sap Analysis requires specialized leaf sampling early in the morning. Field Technicians will drive to sampling locations, geolocate themselves to specific areas to be sampled, and collect data and samples from a list of areas. They will then drive to our Yakima based warehouse and assist in processing samples and collecting data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performearly morningplant sap analysis work in the field; will be trained in leaf sampling on a wide variety of crops.
• Use smartphone to take photos and detailed notes while on-farm
• Package and ship leaf samples
• Working with Google Suite
• May be asked to work weekends
• Field Scouting: driving by fields and confirming specific types of growth are present for sampling
• Field Evaluations: Taking pictures of leaves, diseased or problem areas

Benefits:
