TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an onsite File Clerk to support one of our government clients. This role supports day-to-day records and document operations in a high-volume, fast-paced government environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct file operations and maintenance, including storage, consolidation, interfiling, and retrieval.
- Respond to file requests and maintain accurate organization of records.
- Update Government systems with required information and data.
- Perform regular audits of file rooms and travel to other Government facilities as needed for additional audits.
- Connect incoming correspondence to existing files.
- Scan large, multi‑page documents accurately and efficiently.
- File copies of certificates and notices and support the closeout of ceremonies.
- Provide support for processing forms and applications used in official adjudication processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
- Ability to read and understand English proficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a physical records environment
- Ability to maintain accuracy while managing large volumes of documents and files
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Background Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
