We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented File Clerk to join our administrative team. You will be responsible for processing paperwork and documents as they come in, organizing them in the proper files for reference, and gathering information for different departments when requested. Attention to detail is vital in this role to ensure information can be retrieved quickly and easily. We prefer candidates who have some experience working in an office.
File Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and file documents and paperwork
- Scan files and upload digital copies to the database
- Maintain and organize both the digital and hardcopy filing systems
- Retrieve documents and paperwork when requested
- Deliver requested files to staff members
- Make necessary updates to records with new information; remove or archive any records that are outdated or obsolete
File Clerk Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in an office environment preferred
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
