We're supporting their search for a Finance & Business Controller, a newly-created position.Offering a unique combination of financial reporting, FP&A, and advisory exposure, this role is an ideal first or second move from practice.Alongside ownership of statutory reporting and technical accounting, you will gain hands-on experience in financial planning, performance analysis, and business partnering, making this an excellent platform to develop beyond pure reporting.Key Responsibilities of the Finance & Business Controller:Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements in line with IFRS and Dutch GAAPTake ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cyclesPerform detailed P&L and balance sheet analysis, including performance and variance insightsSupport budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial input and challenge where neededTranslate financial results into clear insights to support strategic and operational decisionsAssess and implement accounting treatment for new standards and complex transactionsPartner with stakeholders across the business to improve financial visibility and performance trackingAct as a key contact for auditors and support the year-end audit processDrive continuous improvements in reporting, planning, and control processesCandidate Profile:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similarQualified accountant (RA / ACA / ACCA / CA)6–8 years’ experience, ideally combining Big 4 and industry exposureStrong knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAPExperience in financial reporting and exposure to FP&A or business partneringStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholdersFluent in English (Dutch is advantageous)If you are interested in applying for this Finance & Business Controller role, please register your interest using the link below.
