Finance Associate

In this role, you will support and lead a broad range of commercial finance transactions. You will work on both single- and multi-lender deals, including working capital lines of credit, term loan facilities, real estate financing, and asset-based lending arrangements. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience representing borrowers and lenders in commercial financing matters, with the ability to structure, negotiate, and document a range of credit facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent lenders and borrowers in commercial finance transactions
  • Structure, negotiate, and document secured and unsecured credit facilities
  • Work on syndicated and single-lender deals across various industries
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive client solutions
  • Manage multiple active matters while maintaining strong responsiveness and attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience representing borrowers and/or lenders in commercial finance matters
  • Proven ability to structure, document, and negotiate a variety of financing arrangements
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Ability to manage timelines and competing demands while delivering high-quality client service
  • Admission to the Michigan bar is required
