EMEA Recruitment has partnered with an international industrial business to strengthen its Finance & Controlling function. We are seeking a Finance Business Partner based in either Hanover or Freiburg area.In this role, you will act as a key partner to the local Managing Director in Germany and the European Head of After Sales. You will provide financial insights, analysis, and decision support to both organizations, helping drive transparency, accuracy, and effective financial performance.You will play an important role in monitoring commercial performance, margins, and pricing strategies, while supporting the development of sound commercial decisions. The role also ensures consistency in accounting and reporting practices in line with group reporting standards across Germany and the wider European After Sales organization.You will report directly to the Head of Controlling Sales Europe within the group finance structure.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Business Partnering – GermanyPartner with the Managing Director to manage the P&L, including revenue, margins, and overheadsDrive and monitor commercial KPIs such as pricing, product mix, volume, and customer profitabilityLead FP&A activities including monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecastingAnalyze sales, pricing, costs, and working capital to identify performance improvementsCollaborate with Sales teams to challenge assumptions and enhance profitabilityFinance Business Partnering – European After SalesPartner with the European Head of After Sales to improve profitability across countries and service linesConsolidate and analyze performance, identifying growth and efficiency opportunitiesWork with local finance teams to standardize reporting and KPI frameworksSupport pricing strategies, investment cases, and business model developmentControlling, Reporting & ProjectsDeliver high quality management reporting across Germany and European After SalesDevelop financial models, dashboards, and business casesEnsure alignment with group finance standards and reporting frameworksContribute to cross functional initiatives such as digital transformation and cost optimizationYour BackgroundDegree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field3 to 5 years’ experience in finance, FP&A, or controlling, ideally in a commercial environmentExperience in an international or industrial business is advantageousAdvanced Excel and SAP experienceFluent in English and GermanProactive, hands on, and able to work independently in an international environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsEMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace.
