Aila is partnered with a PE backed Group who are looking for a commercially strong, analytical and motivated Finance Business Partner to join the team.About the Company:~£200m revenue, PE backed business with 20+ sitesStrong cash injection to scale the business further whilst growing profitablyCommercial business partnering role with great exposure to non-finance in a value-add capacityThe role:This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to join a multi-site leisure business in a role that is truly focused on business partnering with sites, adding value through insightful analysis and taking a leading role in commercial business partnering with Operations and owning their Retail and Leisure spend.Key Responsibilities:Build the budget for operational expenditure, on-site spend and entertainmentDeliver a budget and detailed reforecasts throughout the year in accordance with the FP&A timetableUsing performance trends to develop top-down monthly P&L outlooks highlighting risks and opportunities to targetContinuously improving the budget process including seeking automation and integration with reporting systemsImprove KPI’s and benchmarking standards to assist in setting challenging but achievable plansImprove accuracy and efficiency around production of budgets, forecasts and reportingSupport the creation of a suite of monthly reporting, summarising period performance through insightful narrativeEnsure Capex requests are supported by robust business cases and benefits can be tracked against planPrepare insightful commentary on performance (vs budget/forecast)Review management accounts to explain and challenge the business performance with central business partners, Regional Directors, Head of Commercial OperationsAct as main finance business partner for Retail, Leisure and EntertainmentProvide analysis and insight to drive understanding and informed decision making across all these areas of the P&L, considering both financial and non-financial performance measuresContinuously improving reporting and transparency through the use of PowerBI and AIThe Ideal Candidate:Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience and comfort in business partnering with stakeholdersExperience in an analytical role, ideally for a consumer facing business (Retail / Leisure)Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detailConfident communicator, comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levelsThe Package & Benefits:Salary: £70,000 - £75,00010% performance related bonusHybrid working (3 in, 2 out)25 days leave + bankHow to Apply:We want to hear from you if you're excited about this opportunity and believe you have what it takes to excel in this role.
