Reporting into the Finance organization, this role acts as the day-to-day financial partner to the BU, helping translate business plans into forecasts, evaluate trade-offs, and improve financial outcomes through strong analysis and collaboration. The role balances analytical rigor with commercial understanding and cross-functional partnership.Responsibilities:Serve as the primary finance point of contact for the BU, partnering closely with the BU Lead and functional leadersProvide financial analysis and insights to support: pricing and margin decisions, trade spend and promotional effectiveness, customer, channel, and product profitabilityIdentify key cost drivers across materials, labor, overhead, logistics, and conversion costsPartner with Operations and Supply Chain to explain cost movements, productivity impacts, and operational tradeoffs within financial analysesSupport evaluation of new initiatives, business cases, and growth opportunitiesFinancial Planning & Performance Management:Lead the BU's annual budget, rolling forecast, and periodic outlook updatesPrepare and explain monthly financial results, including variance analysis vs. budget and forecast, key performance cost drivers and trendsSupport monthly business reviews by highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actionsHelp improve forecast accuracy and financial transparency for the BUIntegrated Business Planning (IBP) Support:Act as the finance lead for the BU as part of the weekly/monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, partnering across demand planning, Supply planning, and Production, Materials, and Resource (PMR) planningTranslate demand and supply scenarios into financial impacts, including revenue, margin, inventory, and net working capital implicationsSupport scenario planning by quantifying tradeoffs related to capacity constraints, service level decisions, inventory positioning, cost and margin impactsProvide financial input and validation during IBP meetings to support fact-based decision-makingCommercial & Operational Analysis:Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to understand volume, mix, pricing, and end-to-end cost driversAnalyze manufacturing and supply chain impacts on BU financial performanceSupport continuous improvement initiatives by quantifying financial benefits tied to cost reduction, productivity, and efficiency effortsTrack and report on key KPIs, ensuring insights are clear, relevant, and actionableProcess, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support BU decision-makingIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, data quality, and reporting efficiencyEnsure alignment with finance policies, controls, and standard processesCollaboration & Communication:Work cross-functionally to ensure financial implications are understood and considered in BU decisionsClearly communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a practical, business-focused wayEscalate key risks or issues to finance leadership as appropriateQualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field47 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or commercial financeExperience partnering with business, sales, or operations leadersStrong analytical and financial modeling skillsSolid understanding of P&L drivers in a manufacturing or CPG environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyPreferred:CPG, food & beverage, or consumer products experienceExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisExposure to ERP or planning systemsMBA, CPA, or CMA (a plus, not required)Success in This Role Looks Like:BU leaders rely on you for clear, timely financial insightForecasts are accurate, well-understood, and actionableFinancial tradeoffs are surfaced early and clearlyDecisions improve because finance is involved before, not afterHours, Location and Pay:We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
