Aila is partnered with a fast-paced engineering business that will give you unique exposure in a finance business partnering role.About the Company:Market leading engineering business with ambitious growth plansScale up firm with impressive headcount growth over the last 5 yearsExcellent environment for somebody to excel in a business partnering capacity that is central to the whole businessThe role:You will operate in a cross-functional role that guides decision making within the business and is integra to investment and strategic decision making.You will sit at the centre of finance in a fast-paced and exciting business, integral to every area of the company in a true finance business partnering role.Key Responsibilities:Lead on month end regulations processes, including variance analysis and a forward-looking view inclusive of risk and opportunitiesSupport the annual regulations submission process, partnering with Financial Control, FP&A, and budget owners to ensure timely, accurate, and fully compliant filingsLead internal education to increase regulation awareness across Technical, Operational, and Performance Enabling FunctionsEnsure enhanced understanding of the financial and regulatory implications of decisions madeProvide constructive challenge to departments where spending or resource allocations could be better maximisedCollaborate with other Finance Business Partners to identify key areas where we can handle costs in such a way as to allow further exclusionsMaintain scenario models with FP&A, to allow for agile modelling of future changes in regulationsDemonstrable ability to influence, challenge, and support senior leaders.Be a subject matter expert on financial regulations - providing consistent guidance for finance team and the wider business The Ideal Candidate:Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience and comfort in business partnering with stakeholdersAbility to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detailConfident communicator, comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levelsThe Package & Benefits:Salary: £70,000 - £75,000Performance-based bonusPrivate Healthcare, Life Assurance25 days leave + bankUnique opportunity in a thrilling and exciting industryHow to Apply:We want to hear from you if you're excited about this opportunity and believe you have what it takes to excel in this role.
