Position Overview:

  • We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Finance Controller to oversee financial operations for our US business.
  • The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a proven track record in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance.
  • This role reports directly to the CFO and will collaborate with business leaders to maintain financial integrity and support strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial functions for the US division, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Ensure full compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead and coordinate a finance team spread across the US and India.
  • Partner with business leadership to devise and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, and working capital optimization.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in budget preparation, monthly forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and audit compliance.
  • Support the CFO with strategic financial planning, mergers, acquisitions, and high-level financial activities.

Qualifications:

  • CA or CPA designation is required.
  • 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing remote and global teams.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience interacting with senior management.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
