Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regional Finance & Reporting

  • Lead monthly closing, deliver US GAAP financial statements.
  • Manage annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.

2. Manufacturing & Supply Chain Finance (Manteno core)

  • Drive standard cost, actual cost, and variance analysis (material, labor, overhead).
  • Oversee inventory, fixed assets, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support procurement negotiations and logistics cost analysis.

3. Business Partnership & Decision Support

  • Act as finance BP to Americas leadership on pricing, contracts, and profitability.
  • Build IRR/NPV models for expansions, upgrades, or new projects.
  • Analyze market trends (IRA, tariffs, competitor reports) to support strategy.

4. Compliance, Tax & Risk

  • Ensure compliance with federal/state taxes (income, sales, property).
  • Support internal control, internal/external audits, and risk management (forex, insurance).

5. Team & Cross-Cultural Coordination

  • Build and lead the local finance team (accounting, cost, AP).
  • Act as a bridge between US operations and China HQ – explain local financial logic and execute global strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting; CPA (US) or CMA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years as Finance Director/Sr. Manager in manufacturing (factory floor experience required).
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting.
  • Basic understanding of US tax (federal, state, sales tax).
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/D365); BI tools a plus.
  • Strong leadership and ability to influence non-finance teams (operations, supply chain).
  • Comfortable with China-US time zone communication.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and business-driven.
