Location: United States Company Size: Small, fast-growing company About the Role We are seeking a Finance Manager/Financial Controller to join our finance team and support the company’s continued growth. This role is ideal for a professional with solid accounting and reporting experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow within a dynamic finance department. You will work closely with multiple departments and senior management, playing an active role in improving financial visibility and supporting business decision‑making. Given the size of the company, curiosity, adaptability, and a hands‑on mindset are essential. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation, reconciliations, and cost analysis Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying variances and trends Collaborate with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial data Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Support internal controls and help improve financial processes and documentation Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third‑party providers as needed Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects to support business decisions Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Solid knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred) Proven experience in financial reporting and month‑end close Experience with inventory management and cost accounting Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented, cross‑functional environment Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a small‑company setting Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Background in a Big Four or similar professional services firm 5 years of relevant experience CPA or progress toward certification is a plus Experience in a fast‑growing or entrepreneurial company What We Offer Clear growth opportunities within the finance department Hands‑on exposure to multiple areas of the business Collaborative, supportive, and flexible work environment with hybrid working from our Canal Winchester, Columbus office and home #J-18808-Ljbffr
