It is an ideal blend of professional opportunities and community living. The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in King City, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the City’s financial operations including budgeting, accounting, payroll, forecasting, and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include preparing and monitoring the annual budget, managing audits, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making. The Finance Manager will work closely with city departments, participate in financial planning, handle investment activities, and lead a team to ensure the efficient management of public funds. Qualifications Proficiency in Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting Strong skills in Financial Analysis, Forecasting, and Investment Management Experience in Public Sector Finance, Government Accounting, and Compliance Leadership and Team Management skills, with the ability to mentor staff effectively Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, and Strategic Planning abilities Proficiency in Financial Systems, Tax Administration, and Payroll Software Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable but not mandatory Proven experience in municipal or government finance is a strong advantage City of King is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
