The company:
My client is an amazing start up retail company that is going to be popping up all across the US very shortly. Due to this expansion, theyre looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the finance functions of the business. Youll be reporting directly to the CEO and will recruit and grow a team underneath you.
The Role:
- Responsible for all financial functions of the business ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure everything is compliant with all federal and state tax-filing obligations in all of its respective operating markets
- Ensure accurate cash forecasting to support any funding requests to Group
- Prepare monthly management reports including departmental PNL
- Resolving queries and suggesting improvements to service
- Monitoring and evaluating all financial information
- Balance sheet reconciliations ensure comprehension
- Ensure that the management teams are properly supported to fulfil their roles and financial scope
The Person:
- Relevant qualifications within finance or accounting
- MUST have experience in the retail environment
- Start up experience would be ideal
- Experience integrating POS systems into accounting software
- Bubbly, positive, outgoing attitude
- Experience within the hospitality industry
- Extremely motivated, self-starter
- Someone who thrives in a high volume environment
- Excellent communication skills
