Requirements
- Exceptional written (correspondence, spelling, grammar) and verbal communications skills
- Intermediate computer skills and database knowledge
- Independent worker who is willing to take on a variety of projects
- Requires extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices as they relate to nonprofit organizations.
- Personable, pleasant, cheerful with excellent telephone skills
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business administration, finance, accounting or closely related field is highly desirable. At least five years of increasingly responsible experience in financial management or accounting, preferably with a non-profit or public agency.
Compensation
- Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
- Reimbursement for travel and business-related expenses, as per MTHCD policy.
- Paid Vacation and Sick Time, paid holidays and other benefits, as described in the MTHCD Policy Manual.
- Health, vision and dental benefits, following qualification therefore, as outlined in the MTHCD Policy Manual.
- 401k as outlined in MTHCD Policy Manual
Travel may be necessary, both by car and by air, including absences from home for one or more nights. Travel may be on the employee's or employer's time, or both. Working nights, weekends or holidays may occasionally be required/necessary.
