Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage key areas of the monthly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Evaluate and account for complex transactions, including equity, investments, taxes, debt, leases, and accruals.
- Analyze operational data and business trends to ensure accurate and consistent accounting treatment.
- Prepare financial statements and internal reports in compliance with US GAAP.
- Support external audits with thorough documentation and analysis.
- Research and resolve accounting questions independently and confidently.
- Continuously improve systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate across teams to support business needs and provide accounting insight.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and emerging practices.
Qualifications
- CPA license with public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
- Familiarity with general ledger and procurement systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently, particularly during month-end close.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and leadership interaction.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience
- Background in manufacturing or aerospace industries.
- Experience navigating complex GL structures and multi-system environments.
- Proven track record of improving accounting processes or internal controls.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $105,000 – $110,000 per year (actual salary based on experience and performance).
- Additional rewards may include long-term incentives/equity, flexible PTO, and other progressive benefits.
