MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:** Must have CPA or BS in Accounting** Must have 10+ yrs of working with FASB/GASB** Must have 10+ yrs of financial statements preparation** Must be advanced in Microsoft Office** Must have General Ledger systems experience (Quickbooks, PeachTree, CYMA, FLAIR, etc.)** Ability to create, update and manage desk procedures** Must have financial & programmatic compliance audits experienceCANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:· Maintains various specialized accounting records· Compiles and analyses of large amounts of financial data· Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations· Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements· Understanding of Genal Ledgers, Trail Balances, and GAAP Financial Statements· Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
