Financial Aid Analyst - SQL Scripts - REMOTE WORK - 58645
Pay Range - $25 - $35/hr
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position Financial Aid Analyst to work on Remote basis.
Key Items the Manager wants to see:
- They want someone that has extensive experience with Student Financial Aid/Financial Aid systems.
- Someone that is able to help with troubleshooting issues with Financial Aid Systems.
- Ideally someone that is familiar with Financial Aid Systems like Banner Financial Aid, ProSAM or PowerFAIDS but any other will be fine.
- Doesn't need to be a SQL developer or admin but at least familiar enough with SQL to read scripts.
Must-Have Experience:
- Extensive experience with Student Financial Aid platforms
- Strong Business Analyst (BA) experience.
- General knowledge of SQL databases.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Specific experience with Banner, ProSAM, and/or PowerFAIDS.
- Program/Project management experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Financial Aid Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Financial Aid processes and system administration, with specific expertise in either Banner Financial Aid, ProSAM, and PowerFAIDS. This role requires a strong understanding of system administration and the ability to review and write SQL scripts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Financial Aid processes.
- Address production support tickets and maintain knowledge base documentation.
- Collaborate closely with programmer analysts to convert business/functional requirements into technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot student and colleague issues by digging through code and understanding the flow of processes on financial aid platforms.
