Financial Analyst 3 CX The Financial Analyst 3 CX performs financial planning and analysis for UC Berkeley Extension to support excellent, data-driven decision-making. This position participates in budget and forecast development and contributes to monthly and annual close activities and processes. The Financial Analyst provides expert analytical and financial reporting support to leadership and to academic and administrative directors, and develops complex financial models for proposed academic programs, including those conducted in partnership with campus academic departments. Responsibilities include managing and implementing department budget allocations, conceiving and maintaining department chart of accounts, providing analytical support for budget, financial, and resource projects, reviewing annual budget submissions, developing revenue and expense forecast models, producing analytical studies and summary reports, performing financial analysis, and ensuring appropriate internal controls are addressed to protect University resources. Required qualifications include thorough knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems, ability to independently gather required information to organize and perform financial analysis assignments, proven ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing, proven ability in using spreadsheet and database software for complex financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reports, proven interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and ability to function as a member of a team. Education/training: Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Salary range: $82,800 - $105,000. This position is eligible for hybrid/remote work within the United States. This position does not include sponsorship of a new consular H-1B visa petition that would require payment of the $100,000 supplemental fee. #J-18808-Ljbffr
