Financial Analyst The Opportunity The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure our client’s resources can make the most impact. As a Financial Analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help guide our client’s decisions at the executive level. You’ll work with seniors across the client’s organization to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. Using your knowledge of government budget and finance rules and regulations, you’ll help your client develop well‑formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the Senior Resource Manager. This is your chance to work on high‑level impactful work supporting national security while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team. You Have Experience managing portfolio‑level funding strategies across appropriations, contract vehicles, and fiscal years Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau Knowledge of federal government finance tools such as BASIS, COGNOS, and Excel Ability to develop and track annual spend plans for major federal initiatives Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders on budget status, spending, and appropriations TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Economics field Nice If You Have Experience developing guidance on data collection methodologies ensuring accuracy Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date. Work Model Remote : If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid : If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. Onsite : If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
