Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial systems and processes within the organization. This role involves analyzing financial data, implementing system enhancements, and ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of financial systems, including ERP and accounting software.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and generate reports to support decision-making and identify trends or anomalies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve system issues and provide technical support to users.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and updates.
  • Compliance: Ensure financial systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and other departments to understand requirements and support system integration and upgrades.
  • Training: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of financial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial systems analyst role or similar position.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and financial software.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in financial systems or related areas (e.g., CFA, CPA).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
