Job Summary The Financial Analyst Coordinator provides financial and operational leadership for the College of Fine Arts, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, business operations, compliance, and grant‑related financial activities. The role manages complex revenue and reconciliation processes, supervises staff, develops and delivers training on financial and procurement procedures, and serves as a subject‑matter expert on university business operations. The position works with college leadership, faculty, and central university offices to ensure internal controls, regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and efficient support of the college’s academic, research, and auxiliary programs.
Responsibilities
Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and business operations for the College of Fine Arts.
Manage grant‑related financial activities and complex revenue reconciliation processes.
Supervise and develop staff (three Account Clerks) within the Integrated Business Unit.
Develop and deliver training on financial and procurement procedures.
Collaborate with college leadership, faculty, and central offices to ensure effective internal controls and regulatory compliance.
Provide accurate financial reporting and support the college’s academic, research, and auxiliary programs.
Qualifications
Required Education: MA
Required Related Experience: 3 yrs
Required License/Registration/Certification: None
Preferred Education/Experience: BA in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excel, SAP/BW/Tableau Reporting; strong communication and attention to detail
