DSV - Global transport and logistics Location: USA – Iselin, Wood Ave | Division: Air & Sea | Job Posting Title: Financial Analyst, Customs – 111919 | Time Type: Full Time Summary The Financial Analyst, Customs will provide financial and analytical support to DSV’s U.S. customs brokerage. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, developing models, preparing reports and forecasts, and offering guidance to management. The analyst collaborates across the organization to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhanced processes for billing, costs, revenue, and other data metrics. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial data and perform forecasting for DSV’s U.S. customs brokerage division. Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, including ROI and pricing analysis. Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting. Collaborate with various teams across the organization to identify opportunities for process improvement. Monitor, validate and report on financial performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to management. Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams to ensure financial targets are met. Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports for management and stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting. Educational Background / Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 2‑5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the logistics industry. Experience with financial modeling and analysis, forecasting and budgeting. Required Skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Prior experience using Business Intelligence tools – Power BI. Demonstrated experience with general ledger and reporting systems. Experience with data extraction from large systems. Experience with financial modeling and forecasting and budgeting. Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and concise reports and presentations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Computer Literacy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling and analysis tools. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Compensation The expected base pay for this position is $62,500 – $84,500 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location, and other objective considerations.
