Summary We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support Bound Tree’s finance team. This role will develop and communicate financial and sales performance insights that help leaders make better business decisions. The Financial Analyst will manage recurring reporting, support forecasting and variance analysis, manage quota and commission processes, and build dashboards that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, data discipline, and curiosity, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations that improve growth, accountability, and financial performance. Organizational Impact This role serves as a key analytical partner to Finance, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams. The Financial Analyst will help improve visibility into commercial performance, support data‑driven decision‑making, and identify opportunities to strengthen growth, profitability, and operational accountability across Bound Tree. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting and metrics to support leadership decision-making. Partner with Commercial teams to monitor revenue, margin, sales productivity, and other key financial metrics; identify trends and provide actionable insights. Develop accurate and efficient forecasting and analytical models to streamline report management and output. Track monthly commercial KPIs and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards, and ranking tools used to evaluate sales performance. Calculate, validate, and reconcile monthly and quarterly sales commissions, including compensation adjustments, discrepancy resolution, commission statement accuracy, and sales representative inquiries. Assist in designing and improving commission models based on sales performance and targets. Participate in building, modeling, and tracking of sales quotas. Conduct territory analysis to support the design of territory structures and recommend adjustments or optimizations based on business conditions, sales coverage needs, and strategic objectives. Partner with the Accounting team to manage month‑end analyses, reconciliations and close entries as needed for the financial close process. Translate complex datasets and analytical findings into clear tables, visuals, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders. Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. Develop ad hoc reports and analyses to support commercial team decision‑making. Additional job duties as assigned. Skills/Experience Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis. Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft PowerBI experience strongly preferred). Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and process documentation. Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable managing priorities independently. Must be able to work cross‑functionally with multiple stakeholders across the organization. Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and communicate actionable business insights. Experience with commercial compensation or sales commission calculations is a plus. Experience with ERP and CRM systems is a plus (Dynamics 365). Sarnova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
