The position relies heavily on analytical abilities and experience to sort through complex data and prepares meaningful information to assist management with decision making, accounting deliverables, and business performance metrics and reports. This individual will work cross functionally to identify areas of improvement in process and operations./ph3Primary Job Duties And Responsibilities/h3olliMonitor, analyze, investigate, and report variances to standard, budget and prior periods./liliPrepare/present monthly financial reviews for site management and the regions senior management./liliDevelop and maintain standard material, labor and overhead costs./liliCoordinate the development of annual operating plan and multi-year strategic plans./liliPrepare quarterly financial forecast updates./liliCompile and maintain operational metrics (KPIs) for site management/liliPerform month-end financial close process for manufacturing operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, etc./liliMaintains/processes payroll: reviews, analyzes and checks payroll reports for accuracy and makes necessary adjustments, accruals or corrections through journal entries or other established procedures./liliAnalyze capital investment requests./liliProvide support for the Sites inventory reporting requirements and reduction efforts./liliCoordinate inventory cycle count program and audit results./liliAssure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, GAAP, and Watts Accounting Policies and Procedures./liliProvide information and decision support to all Manufacturing departments./li/olh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliBS/BA in Accounting/Finance/lili3+ years of experience in an Operations Finance/Analyst or Accounting role./liliAbility to research, retrieve, organize and summarize data to prepare reports, financial journal entries, and financial analysis./liliDemonstrated ability in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to all levels of management./liliThorough understanding of financial frameworks and concepts with the ability to utilize data to influence others./liliSolid understanding of how financial decisions impact overall business performance with the ability to influence decision-making/liliStrong Excel skills including: VLOOKUP, sumifs, pivot tables, ability to effectively manipulate and organize large amounts of data/liliSelf-motivated, problem solver, strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment./liliSuperior organization skills, ability to multi-task and rearrange priorities as needed, monitor workflow in meeting critical deadlines and project timelines./liliAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentiality./liliMust demonstrate intellectual curiosity and be willing to ask questions, make recommendations and identify areas for improvement./liliStrong database query skills; with experience with Hyperion, QAD or Cognos is a plus./liliTravel required: 5%/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliMasters Degree and/or Certified Management Accountant is a plus/liliExperience with large, multi-national, public corporations preferred/li/ulh3General Applicable Company Competencies/h3ulliCommitment to Watts values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency./liliPunctuality and dependability./liliAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions./liliAdherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts./liliMaintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees./liliAdherence to Watts seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action./li/ulpWorking Conditions:/ppWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment.
