Location: Gibbstown, NJ (08027) Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000, based on experience and qualifications. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to fulfill a progressive role within the Accounting and Finance Department. It is an opportunity to join our company, an innovative dental and cosmetics industry leader. The position is a hybrid between accounting and finance that requires accounting knowledge as well as Financial Planning and Analysis mindset. The Financial Analyst will have the chance to make a direct impact on the company’s operations and will have high visibility to senior executives and opportunities for growth and development. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, this position will be responsible for various financial reporting and analysis activities, including analysis, research, financial planning, ad-hoc reporting and other accounting and finance functions. Overall, the Financial Analyst is a solutions-oriented individual who is looking to modernize financial analytics, streamline reporting, and be a business partner to department leaders. Essential Job Functions Deliver Financial Insights: support monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting to provide business leaders with accurate and timely information needed to make informed decisions. Plan for future: prepare annual budget and operating plans. Work with business leaders to understand the direction of the business and best prepare for the road ahead. Analyze new business opportunities, capital expenditure, and understanding our industry and competitors Design and Optimize Dashboards: build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards used by Finance and Leadership Drive Process Improvements: create automatic workflows using business intelligence tools to reduce manual workflows and improve efficiency Prepare Financial Statements: assist in monthly close process, prepare/analyze financial statements with variance explanations for Leadership, create visualizations for Leadership to summarize results Be a business partner: Collaborate, communicate, and seek solutions with non-financial leaders Assist with other general accounting and FP&A activities Perform additional duties/tasks as needed or requested by management. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role. Manufacturing setting preferred. Analytic Capability: Strong understanding of financial statements , accounting concepts and corporate finance concepts Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting Data Skills: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Sumifs, Xlookups, Charts) High attention to detail and data integrity Familiarity with ERP systems. Microsoft D365 experience preferred. Experience with BI or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python). Power BI preferred. Desired Skills Individual who is solution oriented, strong analytically, and has data mining ability Understands how ERP and Business Intelligence Tools function and can work with large data sets Self-starting personality Ability to work independently and make suggestions Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, listening, and presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate complex information to others Interact with coworkers from different disciplines Must be an effective team player Accurate and Punctual: Proven ability to perform under deadlines, to adjust plans to meet challenging and changing needs and requirements High attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science or a related field. Minor in Data Science preferred. Safety Comply with all safety regulations; maintains a safe work environment at all times. Adhere to always wearing the proper PPE/Safety equipment. Minimal need to balance, stoop, bend, kneel or climb. Work Environment: This position is located in an office setting, within a manufacturing facility. Noise intensity level: quiet to low. Employees may occasionally need to enter manufacturing or lab areas, which may include exposure to moderate noise, moving equipment, and hazardous contaminants.
