Key Job Responsibilities Amazon seeks a Financial Analyst I to support our Global Real Estate and Facilities team for INDIA region. This role will be primarily responsible for financial analysis and reporting, supporting monthly financial close activities, supporting preparation of annual budgeting and forecasting processes, and controllership. This person will partner with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this high‑growth organization. The Financial Analyst will also lead variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews as well as execute ad‑hoc projects, business analysis, financial modeling as needed. Review and consolidation of Accrual ageing and publishing. Creation of month end commentary and convert it to the SQL review file for WD3 and prep for review call. Review and reporting of NDC collection & reconciliation once in a quarter. HYD13 Owned Campus Property Area Management PO creation/ Amendment review. GSTR-1 GSTR Vendor Communication and TDS query resolution coordination with tax team. Retention Invoice analysis and payment updates. Reserve ledger recon check and amortization postings in month end and coordination with FOAA team for AMC invoices. Address and guide on adhoc financial inquiries or issues from team members & stakeholders. Closely work and monitor Annual/adhoc PO creation progress based on the budget estimates. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of finance experience 3+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills Experience using data to influence business decisions Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles, or experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities 2+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
