Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Department of Energy (DOE) customer in Idaho Falls, Idaho!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Financial Analysis support, including analysis of project costs, budgets, and financial data reconciliation.
  • Interface with financial personnel, track university funding, and perform comparisons of budget data from various systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and minimum of four (4) years relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Knowledge of federal budgeting and accounting principles.
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., STARS, PICS:NE).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting.

Other Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
