Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • 4-6 years related experience required
  • Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Must be detail oriented
  • Strong systems skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion and JD Edwards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Results and deadline oriented, strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to identify process improvements, ability and desire to take action
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Leadership skills and the ability and desire to drive change
  • Individual must be comfortable interacting with all levels of management and personnel. 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Accounting or Finance required. 
  • Work towards a Master’s degree and/or professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus

 

  • Assist VP Finance to drive meaningful analysis and reporting that supports business growth
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly financial presentations for the board of directors by developing clear variance analysis and explanation
  • Work side-by-side with Channel Marketing Mangers to develop, analyze, and provide insight regarding sales tactics to facilitate sales and margin growth / improvements. 
  • Interact with corporate controller’s office to publish various flash reports during the monthly close process
  • Lead in preparation of monthly financial reports detailing performance versus plan and forecast
  • Assist VP Finance with monthly forecast development detailing performance versus plan and forecast
  • Provide financial oversight for Sales Incentive Plan calculations, corresponding financial accruals, and reporting
  • Drive meaningful ad hoc analysis that facilitates business growth and profitability improvement
  • Assist in the consolidation of the annual strategic plan update
  • Develop new reporting templates and ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Perform Account and Hyperion Essbase structure maintenance
  • Duties require expert PC skills in use of Excel and Essbase, and proficient skills in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Good baseline working knowledge of Oracle Finance EBS Suite and BI reporting module.
