Bon Appétit Management Company operates more than 1,000 cafés around the country for corporations, universities, and museums, as well as a few dozen public restaurants. We’ve led the industry in socially and environmentally responsible sourcing, from sustainable seafood to cage‑free eggs. We cook everything from scratch using fresh, local ingredients. The Finance Team supports the Food program regionally and champions best financial practices related to analysis, budget, forecasting and spend. The Finance Team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Data Analytics work streams. Role Summary To support our growth we’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. The Financial Analyst will primarily support the FP&A and Data Analytics work streams within the Finance Team. This position reports to the Regional Controller and partners with site and client leadership teams on financial modeling, data infrastructure, and reporting to drive financial best practices. The great things you’ll do Develop financial models to add depth and accuracy to financial discussions and inform decision-making. Maintain and reinforce financial policies and standards across the account. Communicate financial issues or concerns to the regional team. Oversee the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summary reports for unit management and leadership groups. Participate in meetings with site and client leadership teams. Create and maintain financial tools for all levels of managers, chefs, leadership, and client teams. Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial KPIs for site leadership and client partners. Maintain the client consolidated financial roll‑up on a weekly basis. Provide ongoing budget support and training for managers and chefs, and lead budget development and review by location. Assist with financial modeling for pro‑formas for new cafés/programs, new food initiatives, and support team projects to determine operating expenses. Present information for quarterly business discussions and annual strategic review projects as needed. Develop data validation processes to ensure data is clean and accurate. Maintain and develop data infrastructure. Support ad‑hoc data analysis projects. What we look for in the great candidate 4‑year college degree in Business/Accounting or 5+ years of experience in an analyst capacity. Previous high‑volume retail or foodservice analyst support. Ability to influence in a matrixed organization. Adept at dynamic and creative problem‑solving. Excellent at managing multiple client and internal requests and deadlines. Responsive to shifting priorities for self and team on short notice. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail). Basic proficiency in SQL for database interactions. Experience in dashboard design and data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
