Financial Business Analyst - REMOTE WORK - 60156

Pay Range - $32 - $35/hr

We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position Financial Business Analyst to work in Remote basis.

Qualifications:

Client is looking for a Business Analyst that has experience managing Finance and Accounting projects. This person will be working specifically on shipboard projects and will be meeting with the business and understanding the processes. This person will be reporting into the Sr BA. This person will be working specifically on onboard applications, POS systems, everything related to Finance onboard. Their in-house PMS system is called Latitude, which is similar to Oracles Fidelio or SAP. Their POS is also in house but is similar to Oracle's Micros, but still very customized to Carnival's needs. Financial projects that lean toward accounting, 30% accounting, 70% general financial accounting. Shipboard payment systems, reporting, etc.

They need to talk to purchasing, accounting, revenue, treasury, etc. They need to know what each team is responsible for, but they don't need to know how they complete it. "What does treasury need to know for me to create the tasks that they need to complete"

Day to Day:
This person will be the liaison between the business and IT teams, and will be doing basic BA duties, while knowing the language of the shipboard world. This person will be more functional vs technical.
