Job Title: Financial Consultant

Location: San Juan, PR 00918

Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Multiple Extensions)

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $30-$36/hr

(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid Role - 3x/week in office. . Should be available to work extra hours during the month end closing.

Job Description:

Responsible for reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Identifies complex financial problems or issues, researches solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency. Advises management of various financial models and recommendations. Prepares complex presentations. Prepares financial planning, financial section of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, applicable government reports, and budget reports. Is used as a resource by staff or outside departments. Trains and reviews the work of lower level Financial Analysts. Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred. If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall under a `sensitive position' work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions. Requirements include but are not limited to more stringent and frequent background checks and/or government clearances, segregation of duties principles, role specific training, monitoring of daily job functions, and sensitive data handling instructions. Associates in these jobs must follow the specific policies, procedures, guidelines, etc. as stated by the Government Business Division in which they are employed.
