An established and growing Medical Device is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the accounting and financial operations for one of its business divisions. This is a newly created position due to continued company growth and offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while helping drive financial performance and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is ideal for an ambitious accounting professional looking to expand their leadership responsibilities and grow into a broader Controller position. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting and financial activities for a designated business division. Lead and develop a small accounting team (2 direct reports). Prepare timely and accurate financial reports to support business and operational decision-making. Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership. Manage month‑end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Leverage ERP/accounting systems to extract, analyze, and report financial information. Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency. Qualifications 3–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial controlling within a manufacturing environment. Experience overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting. Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and financial reporting tools. Experience with SAGE is highly preferred. Additional experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, Solomon, or similar ERP systems is a plus. Manufacturing experience is required, with medical device manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
