The controller oversees the operations of the accounting department, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller based in Nazareth, PA. The Financial Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, including preparing, analyzing, and managing financial statements. Daily tasks involve overseeing financial reporting, managing accounting records, implementing and ensuring compliance with financial policies, and providing analytical insights to support decision-making. This role also includes responsibilities such as budget preparation and audits while ensuring compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and managing Financial Statements
- Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience and knowledge in Finance and Financial Reporting processes
- Expertise in Accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel and accounting systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, required
- Ten years' experience, required
- Prior experience in a similar role; experience in public, government administration, or HUD is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders
