Our client is seeking a Controller to join their team.Our client, a growth-oriented manufacturing company, is seeking a Controller to lead their finance function and serve as a strategic advisor to the President and CEO. This hands-on role is critical in shaping the company’s financial strategy and driving performance as the business continues to scale. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing finance, exceptional communication skills, and sharp critical thinking and analytical abilities. If you're looking for a role where you can truly make a difference and grow with a company that values your expertise, we’d love to hear from you.Your Responsibilities:As a Controller, you will:Serve as a financial advisor to the CEO and executive team on strategy, profitability, and growthOversee all financial planning and cash flow management for the organizationDevelop and manage revenue and expense tracking methods, forecasts, and financial reportingLead and mentor a department team including a Senior Accountant, AP/Billing Specialist, and Credit & Collections staffEstablish and maintain standard costs for products, including machine overhead and labor rates, and update as needed to ensure accurate cost accounting.Manage monthly close, financial statement issuance, and general ledger integrityCollaborate with external auditors, accounting partners, and banks on treasury, compliance, and equipment financingLead financial analysis efforts across trends, costs, and profitabilitySupport M&A due diligence and launch of new business divisionsEnsure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policiesOversee finance IT systems and appoint financial team leadersYour Qualifications:To excel in this role, you need:5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (required)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline (required)CPA or CMA certification (preferred)Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office (experience with Cube, Onestream, or Seradex is a plus)Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skillsKnowledge of accounting systems (A/P, A/R, Payroll, Billing, GL)Ability to work collaboratively, handle confidential information, and adapt to changing prioritiesWhy You Should Join Us:You’ll step into a trusted leadership role in a financially sound and growing company that values your input, encourages autonomy, and fosters a team-first, family-oriented culture.Apply Now!If you’re a strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and a strong foundation in manufacturing finance, we’d love to hear from you.
