Financial Operations Associate Apply
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Financial Operations Associate, you will be an integral part of our accounting/finance team located in Aventura, Florida, primarily responsible for managing and processing commissions, refunds, chargeback disputes across various platforms including Shopify, Salesforce, and our merchant provider. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, particularly relating to commissions and refunds, and maintaining seamless coordination between sales, accounting, and order processing teams.

OBJECTIVES
- Conduct thorough verification of commissions tied to refunds.
- Utilize Salesforce to ensure accuracy and resolve commission disputes.
- Collaborate with team members to cross-reference Salesforce history, business types, and commission amounts for dispute resolution.
- Update opportunity statuses in Salesforce to opportunity refunded upon confirming refund validity.
- Trigger the generation of negative commission records for accurate financial tracking.
- Coordinate with the order processing team to halt or adjust orders as needed.
- Ensure Shopify subscriptions are managed and processed accordingly.
- Process disputes and provide evidence to resolve any chargeback disputes.
- Ensure refund policy is managed appropriately within the merchant account parameters.
- Work closely with the accounting/operations/sales team for refunds processed on Shopify.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination with PSR teams for scheduling and call management.
- Collaborate with various departments to maintain workflow efficiency and data accuracy.
COMPETENCIES
- Proven experience in financial operations, preferably with a focus on refunds and commission tracking.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency with Merchant accounts (i.e. Authorize.net, etc..)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in an Accounting/Finance environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform in a clinic or mobile setting
