SUMMARY The primary purpose of this position is to perform various accounting functions for The Loomis Communities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists the Payroll Administrator in the bi-weekly processing of payroll. Answers inquiries from staff regarding any payroll related issues. Maintains payroll variance spreadsheets. Assists in the processing of accounts payable transactions. Prepares general ledger reconciliations in conjunction with the monthly financial statement cycle. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language. Knowledge of Excel. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able a college student majoring in Accounting. At minimum the candidate must have completed two years undergraduate work with a major in Accounting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
