Position Overview: The Financial Services Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our financial services division, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in optimizing processes, managing teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including transaction processing, account management, and financial reporting. Ensure that all operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and technological solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. Monitor and manage risks associated with financial operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Client Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues related to financial services operations. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. Analyze key performance indicators and operational metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in projects related to operational improvements, system upgrades, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in financial services operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
