Job Title: Financial Systems Analyst
Job Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Systems Analyst to enhance our financial systems and processes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial software applications, ensuring data accuracy, and providing technical support to finance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems, data analysis, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain financial systems and applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to implement and configure financial software solutions.
- Analyze financial system data and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Develop and execute system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for financial system issues; serve as a point of contact for system-related queries.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Train finance team members on system usage and best practices; create user guides and training materials.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial systems analysis, finance, or IT support, preferably with exposure to ERP systems.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
