We are seeking a detail-oriented Finite Element Analyst to join our engineering team. This role focuses on utilizing advanced simulation tools to predict structural behaviour, with a specific emphasis on Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH). You will work closely with senior engineers to transition designs from theoretical models to high-performance, durable products.Responsibilities: Preprocessing: Develop high-quality 1D, 2D, and 3D finite element meshes for complex assemblies, ensuring proper element formulation and connectivity.Structural Analysis: Conduct Linear Static, Non-linear, and Dynamic analyses to validate structural integrity against yield and deformation criteria.Vibration & Dynamics: Perform Frequency Response Function (FRF) evaluations, Modal Analysis (SOL 103), and Random Vibration studies to identify resonance risks and damping requirements.Post-processing & Reporting: Interpret solver results, identify stress concentrations or "hot spots," and present actionable design improvements to the broader engineering team.Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering (Master’s degree with a focus on Noise and Vibration preferred).Simulation Tools: Foundational knowledge of FEA solvers such as Nastran or LS-DYNA. Experience with pre-processors like Patran or Femap is a plus.Structural Dynamics: Understanding of vibration theory, including natural frequencies, mode shapes, and harmonic analysis.Fatigue Analysis: Familiarity with fatigue life estimation methods (e.g., Coffin-Manson or Morrow mean stress corrections) is highly desirable.Effective communication skills to translate complex simulation data into clear design recommendations for management.Only Singaporeans
