Position Overview Associate Project Manager in Smart Infrastructure, located in Austin, TX. Supports the project management team in executing projects from initiation to closeout within a matrix organization. Works on large customer‑facing projects with a focus on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Support the project manager in all phases: milestone deliverables, documentation, case management, and financial aspects. Develop and deliver monthly status reports, customer progress reports, change proposals, and presentations to management and stakeholders, driving final customer acceptance milestones. Organize and execute small‑scale projects, managing finance, schedule, change orders, and coordinating with project and site teams. Track resources and project progress; participate in customer meetings, capture notes, and manage punch lists through close coordination with field service technicians and vendors. Document project events impacting schedule, scope, and efficiency, reviewing solutions with the project manager and providing necessary documentation to technicians. Schedule commissioning resources and ensure field service personnel have reviewed required documentation before site visits. Expedite return of project mark‑ups, support completion of close‑out documentation, and drive all aspects of the final milestone processing. Provide dedicated support to customers within a team environment. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or state‑recognized GED. NICET Level II within 18 months. Experience with project management and engineering. Knowledge of fire alarm systems and ability to read basic electrical drawings and customer specifications. Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. 21 years of age, valid driver’s license with limited violations; meets eligibility for Siemens fleet vehicle program. Legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Construction industry experience. Associate degree in engineering or related field. Technical experience in commercial fire alarm industry. Knowledge of NFPA fire alarm codes, regulations, drawings, and wiring diagrams. Benefits Health and wellness benefits available.
