Fire Alarm Tech Assistant -$11.50 an hour- Monday – Thursday 7-4

Candidate will need to pass a background check along with a good driving record. They will need to travel to Farmington 2 times a month along with working on government property and or school districts.

Candidate will need to pass a background check along with a good driving record. They will need to travel to Farmington 2 times a month along with working on government property and or school districts.
- Assist with installing, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, or related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans. Help mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, or video cameras and attach electrical and telephone wiring to connect components.
- Assist with test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
- Help feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, positioning and terminating cables, wires, or strapping.
- Assist with examining systems to locate problems, such as loose connections or broken insulation.
- Help test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, or other security features to ensure proper functioning or to diagnose malfunctions.
