We are looking for a skilled Flatwork Concrete Finisher to join our team at Year Round Pool (a Pool Troopers Company) specializing in pool construction. In this critical role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces related to pool installations. Your expertise will ensure that our pools have the highest quality structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up forms for concrete pouring to create pool decks, coping, and other surfaces.
• Mix, pour, and finish shot concrete according to project specifications.
• Utilize various tools and techniques to ensure a smooth finish on all concrete surfaces.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of the concrete during installation, making adjustments as necessary.
• Follow direction from crew leader and superintendent. Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on job sites.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing concrete structures as needed.
• Handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in flatwork concrete finishing, preferably in pool construction.
• Strong knowledge of various concrete finishing techniques and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• OSHA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
