The Role
This is not a desk-only position. As Fleet Manager, you’ll oversee a fleet of up to 40 vehicles, ensuring they are safe, compliant, road-ready, and available at all times. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of the fleet — from acquisition and compliance to maintenance and replacement — and may step in to drive or support operations when needed to keep service moving.

Requirements:What You’ll Do
- Own day-to-day fleet operations for a high-volume fleet of up to 40 vehicles in a 24/7/365 environment
- Act as the go-to problem solver, responding quickly to breakdowns, safety issues, and operational disruptions
- Ensure fleet compliance with local, state, federal, and FMCSA regulations — no shortcuts
- Build and manage strong relationships with local repair shops, vendors, and service providers
- Maintain accurate, real-time fleet records (registration, inspections, maintenance, fuel, compliance)
- Leverage technology (Samsara, WEX, fleet systems) to track performance, maintenance, and costs
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance, repairs, and vehicle replacements with urgency and precision
- Support operations as needed, including driving company vehicles when required, to keep service moving
