We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed, fleet-based services organization to hire a Fleet Maintenance Manager. This company is expanding through acquisition and investing heavily in operations, technology, and leadership. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a multi-site fleet operation, lead a team of technicians, and play a key role in improving fleet performance, uptime, and maintenance processes. What You’ll Be Responsible For Oversee maintenance operations across multiple service locations Lead and develop a team of diesel technicians and shop personnel Ensure execution of a strong preventative maintenance program Drive improvements in fleet uptime, reliability, and safety compliance Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and support technical decision-making Manage relationships with external vendors and repair partners Monitor maintenance spend, parts usage, and overall shop efficiency Support implementation and adoption of fleet maintenance systems/technology Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and safety regulations What We’re Looking For Experience managing a fleet of 50+ heavy-duty vehicles (required) Proven leadership of technician teams (5+ direct reports) Strong background in preventative maintenance programs Hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy equipment systems Experience working in fleet-heavy environments (waste, construction, transportation, etc.) Ability to operate independently and take full ownership of a shop operation Experience with vendor management and outsourced repairs Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems or fleet software Why This Role High visibility role with real operational ownership Opportunity to step into a high growth company Strong leadership team with a focus on process improvement and investment Competitive compensation and long-term growth potential #J-18808-Ljbffr
