The Role: Site Yard Fleet Manager
As the Site Yard Fleet Manager, you’ll oversee daily yard and fleet operations at our customer distribution center. You’ll lead drivers, yard staff, and supervisors while partnering closely with the customer to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, coach, and develop drivers, yard personnel, and supervisors
Oversee daily yard operations, scheduling, and workflow planning
Ensure compliance with safety policies, company standards, and operational procedures
Partner with customer transportation and site leadership on execution and planning
Monitor fleet and yard equipment readiness and coordinate maintenance needs
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service
What We’re Looking For:
Transportation, fleet, or yard management experience (CDL not required but preferred)
Strong people leadership and communication skills
Proven ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and leading through change
Tech-comfortable (Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, yard or fleet systems preferred)
