As a Fleet Manager/Operations Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in managing their fleet operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and performance of the company's fleet, managing driver schedules, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the operations team.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company's fleet of vehicles, including scheduling regular maintenance and inspections
  • Monitor the performance and fuel efficiency of the fleet and implement strategies for improvement
  • Coordinate driver schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including driver hours of service and vehicle safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fleet operations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, filing, and data entry
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize fleet operations and efficiency
  • Address any issues or concerns related to fleet maintenance or operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in fleet management or operations administration
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the transportation industry
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using fleet management software or tools
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
