Flex Truck Driver - Class A Hazmat - Penske Logistics

Job Summary Average $110,000 annually Includes $55 per diem when laying over Travel required, up to 100% Responsibilities Travel regionally to work at various locations as needed. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores. Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages. Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered. Schedule Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment. Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment. Vehicle Late model, Penske‑maintained trucks. Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort and safety. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with H (Hazmat) endorsement. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence. Must possess, or be able to obtain, a non-exempt interstate DOT medical card. 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years. 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents. Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. English language proficiency required to comply with federal law. Work the required schedule, at the specified location, complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening. Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Associate must accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others. Physical Requirements The role requires seeing and hearing; vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
