General Purpose

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting all front-of-house food and beverage operations, including the Chef-driven restaurant, bar, cabanas, café, and quick service outlets.

Under the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage, this role drives operational excellence, exceptional hospitality standards, team development, and financial success. The Supervisor ensures seamless daily operations, fosters a positive and professional work environment, and builds strong relationships with members and guests to deliver an elevated club experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

¨ Assists the Director of Food & Beverage in maintaining service standards including training programs, station assignments, steps of service, and development of comprehensive training manuals for all FOH roles.

¨ Oversees front-of-house service at all food and beverage outlets as assigned.

¨ Maintains the highest levels of member and guest service; greets members, builds relationships, and resolves concerns professionally and gracefully.

¨ Manages daily operations including weekly scheduling, payroll submission, team meetings, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary action when necessary.

¨ Ensures service standards are consistently met and exceeded; provides real-time coaching and feedback to associates.

¨ Conducts daily pre-shift meetings to review service expectations, reservations, events, and operational priorities.

¨ Conducts ongoing training sessions focused on service improvements and areas of opportunity.

¨ Performs regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, ambiance, and compliance with health and safety codes.

¨ Ensures all outlets are prepared for service daily, including staff grooming standards, table settings, host stand organization, menu readiness, and overall presentation.

¨ Collaborates with other managers on duty to ensure seamless service across all operating hours.

¨ Participates in weekly F&B management meetings and completes assigned projects.

¨ Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members to support both operational excellence and internal growth opportunities.

¨ Supports the management of the designated F&B operating budget and assists in achieving financial goals.

¨ Maintains full knowledge of and compliance with all state liquor regulations, including laws regarding service to minors and intoxicated persons.

¨ Ensures a work environment free of harassment and discrimination, fully compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.

¨ Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

¨ Minimum three (3) years of hospitality experience, ranging from fine dining to quick-service operations

¨ Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a restaurant environment

¨ Minimum two years of college education required; Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management preferred

¨ Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on service excellence

¨ High integrity and accountability; leads by example

¨ Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally

¨ Innovative thinker who adapts well to change and challenges the status quo appropriately

¨ Commitment to continuous improvement for self and team

¨ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

¨ Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure

¨ Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

¨ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow all Club policies, systems, and procedures

Requirements

¨ Ability to move and maneuver in a food & beverage environment

¨ Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, up to an entire shift

¨ Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally

¨ Ability to work under stressful conditions and maintain professionalism

¨ Ability to work irregular hours as business demands require

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

¨ Minimum two years of college education required

¨ Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Restaurant Management preferred

¨ Minimum three (3) years hospitality experience required

¨ Previous supervisory experience required
